Life is full of cycles of every dimension, interacting with each other to create the amazing beauty we see all around us. As a fundamental aspect of the universe, the nature of cycles replicate exactly in the microscopic as we see in the macroscopic. No matter at what level we perceive our world everything is in oneness, everything is part of everything else.
Being in the flow of creation is about tuning-in to the cycles around us. The beginning of each New Year is a good time to re-tune and re-align our energies.
So for me, resolution one; is to firstly honour with gratitude, the miracle of life itself – to give thanks for all the millions of wonderful occurrences that happen within and around me at every second. It is the nature of these little miracles that contribute to my continued wellbeing and fulfillment. Just as gratitude completes the cycle of receiving, I return the energy of my wellbeing back into the world around me, toward all those in struggle and less fortunate.
Once I have done this, I am in the evolving flow. I am connected. Now I can look at where I’m headed.
Resolution two – the road ahead; I find myself asking, what is in front of me that I don’t already have in this moment? The answer that comes to me is “nothing”. Everything I have in this moment is either in physical form or is in the process of becoming physical – I have asked and I am receiving, so in that completeness, I give thanks once again for all the gifts received and in receiving.
Resolution three – what I can’t see, or what will come to be. How do I know the content of this? – I do not. But I know that when I look into the distance I see the continued fulfillment of my purpose. I see a journey and I see a destination. I see more and more little miracles waiting to grace every grateful step I take – and one more thing. I check in with my feelings when I look into the future. My feelings tell me if I am pointed in the right direction. My feelings are my Heart talking to me. My heart is always connected.
My mind tends the detail; my heart points the way.
2015 is a new cycle; it is the year of the Sheep in Chinese Astrology. The sheep is a communal creature. Sheep belong to each other. They are peaceful and gentle creatures and interestingly, in New Zealand they outnumber us. Perhaps this year we will be more open to the flow of peace in our lives.
May your year be graced with love and abundance . . .
Peaceful beginnings,
Jeffree
