The second half of the tour began with family catchups and a return to my hometown Dunedin. We couldn’t get everyone together in the same place, so I did a trip to Balclutha and Alexandra in Central Otago. Despite the dry weather, the Otago countryside never fails to impress and I would often find myself thinking I was driving through a lunar landscape! In Dunedin we met for a memorable lunch in the beautiful Dunedin Railway Station and I made time to visit the Botanical Gardens and my birth-place, El Nido.
After that, it was back into The Great Within presentations in Dunedin, Christchurch and Blenheim. All three events went extremely well, each with their own energy and synchronicity. I couldn’t help thinking at times that those who came along were themselves, following their healing path, which had so magically led them into the vibration of my music and the theme I had brought with me.
For the main part, I spoke to the element of distraction that many find difficult to accommodate in these days of escalating change. With the fast moving and sometimes radical transitions we face, we can find ourselves caught in the commotion of everything without knowing how we got there. This can happen at the expense of living our own lives in our own way. My reminder had a grounding effect as we journeyed with the music to re-establish personal power and the real reason for being here. Of course, meditation gives us that objectivity and awareness where we can be constantly monitoring our environment and at the same time keeping ourselves on course.
There was a little bit of everything for everyone in each of the presentations, me included. There were deeply quiet moments and uplifting inspirations that gently guided us all forward on the pathway we had chosen for this life.
Then there was the Autumn Equinox on the 20th that featured at my Dunedin presentation. The idea of “balance” had a lot to do with what I was presenting and the equinox feeling seemed to ricochet through the following events. People living in the south of New Zealand seem to have a natural connection to nature, and very naturally chimed in with the meta-physical dimensions of the Equinox. By the time I had completed the Blenheim presentation I was feeling most energised and uplifted. It was an enjoyable trio of performances in the company of many in body, and just as many in soul. There were empty seats, but for all were spoken …
Before I knew it, I was back on the ferry sailing to the North Island and the conclusion of the tour. The weather had pretty much been quite beautiful all the way, The sunshine had followed me around, and I was never without the prompting of source from beginning to end. As I was closing in on where I live at Meadowsong, I began to feel the feelings of completion, of satisfaction and contentment. This was a tour of magical moments throughout; and for all the technology I use, there wasn’t even a blemish …
The completion was about gratitude. A few weeks ago I was focused and under the inspiration of the Great Within, now it was all behind me as a journey complete, from one end of the country to the other. Incidentally, while I was away there were three powerful earthquakes in areas where I had visited, or was about to visit. New Zealand, Zealandia connects with the world through the Ring of Fire - It’s a bit shaky at times, but for such a beauty to behold, the price is happily settled.
